What is Maker Faire?
Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.

About the Technology Alliance of Central New York (TACNY)
TACNY is Maker Faire Syracuse's host organization. They are a not-for-profit volunteer organization that has served the Central NY community since 1903. Our vision is the understanding and beneficial use of science and technology by all. We believe that individual scientific and technological contributions from all peoples and communities are necessary to accomplish our vision. To this end, TACNY creates and supports Programs providing equal opportunity for everyone. Our mission is to facilitate community awareness, appreciation, and education of technology; and to collaborate with like-minded organizations across Central New York.
